New etrap courts established in Turkmenistan

President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree on the establishment of new courts in a number of regions of the country. This is reported by the state news agency TDH.

The decision was taken in connection with changes in the administrative-territorial division and on the basis of article 16 of the Court Act.

According to the document, the court of Altyn asyr etrap was established in Akhal velayat, Garashsyzlyk and Gubadag etrap courts were established in Dashoguz velayat, Dovletli etrap court, Farab and Garabekaul etrap courts were established in Lebap velayat, and Oguzkhan etrap court was established in Mary velayat.

The Ministry of Finance and Economy is instructed to make amendments to the State Budget for 2025 arising from this decree. The document was signed in Ashgabat on October 1, 2025.
