The World Hockey Championship in the third division of Group "A" ended with a silver medal for Turkmenistan

Turkmenistan's national hockey team finished the world championship in the third division of Group A on the second step of the podium. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The final match ended with the score 3:1 in favor of the Taiwan team. Rakhman Muradov scored the only puck of Turkmen athletes in the opponent's goal by realizing the pass of Begench Dovletmuradov. Thus, according to the results of the final match, the Taiwan team will enter the second division of Group "B".

Turkmenistan came second at the World Cup 2023 in Cape Town in terms of the number of points, as well as the difference in the number of scored and conceded pucks. The third place was taken by the hockey team of South Africa.

At the awarding ceremony, the hockey players of the Turkmen national team were awarded silver medals and a commemorative trophy for the second place in the tournament.
