Turkmenistan's achievements in reducing methane emissions into the atmosphere will be presented at the OGT-2024 forum to be held in Ashgabat on October 23-25. This is reported by the Internet edition "CentralAsia.news".
The key topic of the forum will be environmental issues, including environmental challenges of hydrocarbon production. Participants of the event will present multi-path strategies to reduce methane and carbon dioxide emissions.
Special attention will be paid to best practices, sustainable resource management and Turkmenistan's commitment to addressing global environmental challenges. In addition, attention will be paid to preparations for the climate conference to be held in Baku in November this year. Current proposals aimed at attracting foreign investment in the fuel and energy sector of Turkmenistan will be voiced.
Leaders of international organizations, experts and analysts from the energy sector are expected to speak.
