Exhibition-Competition for the Day of Turkmen Alabai opened in Turkmenistan

The State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan has opened an exhibition-competition featuring about two hundred works by Turkmen artists dedicated to the Alabai. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The works presented at the exhibition are made in different styles and belong to different areas of art. There are paintings, graphics, sculpture, arts and crafts, and animation.

In Turkmenistan, special attention is paid to the preservation of the Turkmen alabai breed, in connection with which the Association "Türkmen alabaý itleri" was established. A professional jury will evaluate the works of artists from the capital and Velayat.

The winners of the contest will be announced on the eve of the Turkmen Alabai Day, and the best works will be included in the general catalog of the exhibition "Türkmen alabaýy-2023".
