Construction of highways, bridges and autobahn continues in Turkmenistan as part of the implementation of long-term plans for socio-economic development of the country. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
As of today, 14 thousand kilometers of highways are being modernized and constructed, more than two hundred bridges have been put into operation and the construction of the Autobahn continues.
The Turkmenbashi-Garabogaz-Turkmenbashi-Kazakhstan border highway with a bridge over Garabogaz Bay will soon become part of the North-South transport corridor.
Now Turkmenistan pays special attention to the development of steel highways and container services for integration into international supply chains. The development of the Turkmenbashi port is of particular importance.
