Potato harvesting continues at a high pace in Turkmenistan

Agrarians of Dashoguz province show high rates of harvesting the new potato crop. This is reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: the Golden Age."

Farmers of Boldumsaz etrap planned to harvest about 25 thousand tons of potatoes this year. Half of the area occupied by this crop has already been harvested. Leaders of potato production in velayat are agrarians of Akdepi etrap, who have already harvested 62% of the planned 48 thousand tons of potatoes.

Potatoes are actively harvested in other districts of the province. It is planned to harvest more than 123 thousand tons of tubers. The efficiency of the harvesting campaign is ensured by highly productive agricultural machinery. This year, the agrarians of Dashoguz province of Turkmenistan used high-yielding medium and early varieties adapted to local climatic conditions.
