Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister meets with EU Special Representative for Human Rights

Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov and EU Special Representative for Human Rights Olof Skoog held talks today at the building of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan. About it reports Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, mutual interest in continuing cooperation between Turkmenistan and the EU on the rule of law and human rights was noted. The Minister familiarized the guest with the measures taken in Turkmenistan to ensure a high socio-economic standard of living of the country's citizens, to ensure and promote human rights.

The interlocutors emphasized the significant role of the exchange of views during the regularly held Human Rights Dialogues. The next meeting of the Dialogues will be held on June 25, 2024 in Ashgabat.
