Presentation of the Turkmen city of Arkadag was held in Japan

On Monday, February 20, 2023, the presentation of Turkmenistan's modern city of Arkadag, which is being built according to a fundamentally new concept of development "smart city", was held in the Japanese city of Tendo. This is reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

As part of this presentation, Tendo City Mayor Shinji Yamamoto met with Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Japan Atadurdy Bayramov. The Turkmen ambassador spoke at the event in detail about the features of the construction of the new city of Arkadag, which became the administrative center of the country's Akhal province.

The meeting also discussed the establishment of fraternal relations between the Japanese city of Tendo and the Turkmen "smart city" Arkadag.
