China intends to increase cooperation with Turkmenistan in the gas sector. This was once again confirmed by Chinese President Xi Jinping when he addressed a congratulatory address to President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov on the occasion of Novruz Bayram.
The congratulatory message notes that Turkmen-Chinese relations are based on a solid foundation. They are characterized by great potential and vast prospects for further improvement. China is primarily interested in increasing partnership in the gas industry. However, the Celestial Empire is also interested in non-resource areas, and it is planned to intensify cooperation in these spheres as well. This will constantly give new meaning to the relationship between the friendly states.
The Chinese leader also touched on the promotion of strategic partnership in his address. Xi Jinping emphasized that he cares about the development of bilateral ties between China and Turkmenistan, and therefore intends to raise the strategic partnership to a higher level of development in cooperation with the Turkmen leader, which will benefit both countries and their citizens.
