Negotiations between Turkmenistan and the European Union were held in Brussels

On November 14, the Turkmen delegation held talks with representatives of the European Union in Brussels within the framework of the 7th Inter-Parliamentary Meeting. This is reported by "Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly".

The head of the Turkmen delegation was Yusupguly Eschaev, Chairman of the Committee of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan for the Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms. During the meeting it was noted that Turkmenistan strives to protect human rights and the rule of law. Y. Eschaev emphasized the country's achievements in this direction and stressed the country's readiness for dialogue with the EU.

During the talks, the delegation discussed with the EU representatives the current interaction and new ways to strengthen further cooperation, in particular, in the field of investment. It was noted that Turkmenistan's policy aimed at diversifying the economy makes it possible to ensure the inflow of foreign investment by providing equal conditions for all partners.
