The President of Turkmenistan met with the Secretary General of the BIE

On October 5, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with Secretary General of the International Exhibitions Bureau Dmitry Kerkenzes. This is reported in the broadcast of the news program Watan.

Dmitry Kerkentzes highly appreciated the exhibition activities of Turkmenistan, noting that he was impressed by the country's section at the EXPO-2023 exhibition in Qatar. The BIE Secretary General also noted the Bureau's interest in expanding cooperation with Turkmenistan.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the country is actively implementing the "open door" policy, within the framework of which Turkmenistan seeks to adopt the best world experience, as well as to promote products and services of local companies in both domestic and foreign markets.

The parties discussed the directions of further cooperation on exhibition work and opportunities to get acquainted with the best international experience.
