President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Mikail Jabbarov met on Wednesday, October 4. This was reported on the air of the news program Watan.
During the meeting, the sides noted the positive dynamics of bilateral economic cooperation. The mutual support of initiatives within the framework of authoritative international structures and the high level of intergovernmental dialog were also emphasized during the meeting.
It was emphasized that the work of the Turkmen-Azerbaijani intergovernmental group on economic cooperation is of special importance.
The parties highlighted the intensification of cooperation in the oil and gas sector as a promising area of partnership. In this regard, the Head of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed readiness to expand and further develop mutually beneficial cooperation.
