President of Turkmenistan meets with the Speaker of the National Assembly of Korea

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Kim Jin-pyo met on July 21. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the talks, the sides noted that the countries actively cooperate in the political and diplomatic sphere, including within the framework of international reputable organizations. It was noted that there is a mutual desire to develop inter-parliamentary partnership.

The sides also emphasized the long-term nature of bilateral trade and economic cooperation. Turkmenistan actively cooperates with Korean companies, and major projects in the petrochemical industry have been implemented.

Cultural and humanitarian sphere, in particular, tourism, was named as a promising area of cooperation.
