Participants discussed practical tools for assessing renewable energy and hydrogen prospects, project development and integration of energy storage systems.

Special attention was paid to the issues of methane emissions and improvement of the legal framework to reduce the carbon footprint of the oil and gas industry.

At the end of the event, participants received certificates and training materials for use in the implementation of the national energy policy. The program is funded by the Joint Fund for Sustainable Development Goals and is aimed at strengthening Turkmenistan's capacity to transition to green energy.
