Р. Meredov made proposals on realization of Turkmenistan's foreign policy course

On July 20, during the government meeting of Turkmenistan, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov made proposals concerning the implementation of foreign policy activities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. This is reported in the online publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

It was proposed to prepare a summary of Turkmenistan's positions at the 78th UNGA - the general debate will begin in September 2023. R. Meredov also proposed to develop a draft medium-term strategy of the country's foreign policy based on the geopolitical situation in the region and the Concept of the country's foreign policy course for 2022-2028.

The Foreign Minister noted that the Plan on International Cooperation in Combating Terrorism for 2023-2025 is currently under preparation. The development of the Program for the development of international cooperation in the field of tourism for 2024-2025 was proposed.
In addition, Turkmenistan is preparing a Concept for the development of the country's international exhibition activities.
