Meeting of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO held

A meeting of Turkmenistan's National Commission for UNESCO, headed by Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov, was held on July 22. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The meeting was attended by the heads of ministries and departments of the country, members of the Cabinet of Ministers, representatives of public organizations, the executive secretary of the National Commission for UNESCO, and the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to France joined the meeting via videoconference.

The meeting discussed the planned activities within the framework of celebrating the 30th anniversary of cooperation between Turkmenistan and UNESCO in Ashgabat next year. The issues of accession of the Makhtumkuli Youth Organization of Turkmenistan to the Global Youth Community of UNESCO were also touched upon.
