A lecturer at the IMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan spoke about the country's achievements in the field of transportation

Perhat Chariyev, a lecturer at the IMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, spoke about Turkmenistan's achievements in the creation of transit and transportation infrastructure. This is reported on the website of Centralasia.news.

The expert noted that over the past 10 years Turkmenistan has become the center of many international and global conferences on sustainable transport, development of transport corridors, revival of the Great Silk Road, expansion of transport interconnection for landlocked countries.

On the initiative of Turkmenistan, the UNGA adopted a number of resolutions, including the creation of multimodal transport routes, establishment of transportation in the post-pandemic period, declaration of November 26 as the World Day of Sustainable Transport, etc.

Turkmenistan is part of five international transport corridors and has also recently joined the North-South ITC Agreement.
