President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the head of the Italian company "Leonardo S.p.A." on February 13 Stefano Pontecorvo, reports the publication "TurkmenPortal".

The foreign guest expressed commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation with Turkmenistan.
The Turkmen leader emphasized that Italy is one of the important partners in Europe and expressed confidence that the talks would contribute to the expansion of fruitful business partnership.

Ties with Italian companies in trade and economic, energy and other spheres were named priority areas of cooperation. The Turkmen side expressed interest in considering the proposal of the Italian company in the field of satellite communications.
