Today there was an online conference with the leadership of the "Astrakhan Chamber of Commerce. Representatives of relevant ministries and departments from Turkmenistan and the Astrakhan region of the Russian Federation also participated in the negotiations.
Diplomats focused on discussing bilateral potential for export-import operations. Representatives of CCI of Turkmenistan and Astrakhan region of the Russian Federation reviewed import needs and export opportunities bilaterally.
In addition, the meeting participants discussed current cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Astrakhan region of the Russian Federation and outlined directions for expanding cooperation. In particular, they talked about strengthening trade relations, development of exchange activities and the supply of some Turkmen products. The parties expressed their views on the implementation of supplies of Turkmen textiles, yarn and cotton products to Astrakhan region.
