A regular meeting of the Joint Commission on road transportation between Turkmenistan and Georgia was held at the Agency "Turkmenavtoulaglary" of the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
Within the framework of the meeting, the parties discussed issues of expanding partnership in international road transportation. The meeting was chaired by G. Akmammedov, Head of the Turkmenavtowlaglari Agency, and L. Gamkrelidze, Head of the Land Transport Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
The sides noted the high level of partnership between Turkmenistan and Georgia within the framework of the agreement on international road transportation between Turkmenistan and Georgia, and also noted the potential for its further development.
