Turkmenistan participated in ministerial consultations

Ministerial consultations within the framework of the Convention on the Protection of the Marine Environment of the Caspian Sea were held in Geneva from September 21 to 22, in which the Turkmen delegation took part. This is reported on the website turkmenportal.com.

The delegations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation also took part in the consultations within the framework of the Tehran Convention.

The participants of the ministerial consultations discussed mechanisms of the Secretariat of the Framework Convention for the Protection of the Marine Environment of the Caspian Sea. In addition, the parties discussed the main areas of cooperation between the countries of the Caspian region, including in the field of environmental protection. The issues related to the final document of the past consultations were considered.
