On December 22, the foreign minister of Turkmenistan held an online meeting with T. Maeda, head of the JBIC (Japan Bank for International Cooperation).
The parties emphasized the positive dynamics in relations between the countries, especially noting the trade and economic vector of cooperation. These are the gas-chemical complex in the village of Kiyanly, a carbamide plant in Karabogaz, a gasoline plant in the Ahal region, and a gas-turbine power plant under construction in Chardzhou etrap (Lebap region).
In the course of the negotiations they also discussed promising areas of interaction in the gas-chemical, transport and agricultural industries. The head of JBIC on behalf of the Japanese side expressed its readiness to implement investment projects in our country.
