Turkmenistan increases gas supplies to China

At the end of the first five months of 2024, the total value of Turkmen gas exports to China through the pipeline amounted to 4 billion U.S. dollars. This is reported by the Internet edition "TurkmenPortal.

Turkmenistan supplies gas to China through three branches of the pipeline with a total capacity of 55 billion cubic meters per year. Second and third after Turkmenistan in terms of the value of gas exports to China through the pipeline are Russia and Myanmar, which supplied $3.2 billion and $562 million worth of gas to the country over the period, respectively.

The largest exporters of liquefied natural gas to the PRC are Australia, the State of Qatar and Malaysia, with transaction values of US$6.3 billion, US$4.5 billion and US$1.8 billion, respectively, during the Relevant Period.
