Turkmenistan inspired the world to produce environmentally friendly fuel

As stated during his online speech at the International Oil and Gas Investment Forum in Ashgabat Haldor Topsoe Global Licensing Director Rickard Wannby, Turkmenistan, as a pioneer in the industrial production of gasoline from gas, has inspired many nations and companies to switch to green fuels.

A number of states have taken into consideration projects for the construction of enterprises similar to the plant launched in the Akhal province of Turkmenistan in 2019 for the production of eco-friendly gasoline from gas using the TIGAS technology. A similar plant will soon be launched in Texas (USA). The implementation of the project was inspired by Turkmenistan's success in this direction. The facility, which is about to be launched, will provide 225 million North American drivers with a "friendly" fuel that reduces hydrocarbon emissions by 50% at a cost equal to that of standard gasoline.

R.Wannby in his speech has informed: in 2021 it is planned to start implementation of the project of the second similar enterprise to produce gasoline from gas on the territory of Turkmenistan. At the moment, Turkmengaz State Concern is holding consultations with Kawasaki Heavy Industries (Japan) on this issue. In addition, representatives of Turkmenistan and Japan are discussing other ways to process Turkmen gas to expand the range of environmentally friendly products made from the blue fuel.
