Turkmen company Akgaýa conquers the construction market in the region

In the era of active development of domestic industry, Turkmenistan demonstrates impressive success in the sphere of import substitution and building up export potential. A vivid example of this trend is the economic society "Akgaýa", located in the Balkan province. The information is reported by the publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age“.

The company specializes in the production of dry construction mixtures and gypsum board - materials highly demanded in modern construction. The plant, spread over an area of 25 hectares, impresses with its scale and level of technological equipment. A fully automated production cycle allows Akgaýa to produce 78,000 tons of dry mixes and 8 million square meters of plasterboard annually.

The key advantage of the company is the use of local raw materials. The proximity of deposits allows to significantly reduce the cost of production, making it competitive not only in the domestic, but also in the foreign market. Today, Akgaýa construction materials can be found on construction sites in Russia, Kazakhstan and Afghanistan.

The success of Akgaýa is not just a story of one enterprise. It is a vivid illustration of how small and medium-sized businesses in Turkmenistan make a significant contribution to the implementation of government programs on import substitution and export development. Such examples prove that domestic manufacturers are capable of creating products that meet the highest international standards.

The experience of the Balkan producer demonstrates that with a competent approach and support of the state, Turkmen entrepreneurs can not only meet the needs of the domestic market, but also successfully compete in the international arena. This opens new prospects for the country's economic growth and strengthening of its position in the region.
