Turkmen briefing in Moscow devoted to anniversary dates

On September 30, 2025, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Moscow hosted a briefing dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the country's independence and the 30th anniversary of its permanent neutrality. The event gathered representatives of the media, Turkmen diaspora in Russia and students studying in Russian universities. It is reported by Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan. 

The participants of the event were informed about the achievements of Turkmenistan during the years of independence and key international initiatives put forward by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the 80th session of the UN General Assembly. Special attention was paid to the results of the meeting of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan held on September 19 in Ashgabat.

The briefing emphasized the strategic importance of the Constitutional Law "On the Legal Basis of Peace and Confidence Policy of Neutral Turkmenistan". The symbolism of 2025, which united the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality and the 80th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations, was noted.

The guests were also provided with information about the forthcoming International Forum of Peace and Confidence to be held in Ashgabat in December. The event included a photo exhibition, videos about the country's achievements, and the participants could familiarize themselves with the literary works of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
