Turkmen athletes won 12 awards of different values within the framework of the Youth Kickboxing World Cup held under the auspices of the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations in Tashkent. This is reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age."

A total of 2194 athletes from 40 countries took part in the competition. Kickboxers fought for medals in such disciplines as "full-contact", "low-kick", "kick-light" and under K-1 rules.

Gold medals were awarded to Akmyrat Akmyradov in "full-contact" in weight category up to 67 kg, Kirill Voevodin in "low-kick" in weight category up to 54 kg, Muhammetali Orazmuhammedov in "kick-light" in weight category up to 30 kg.

Rasul Rustamov, Salamatkhan Baltaev, Nurmuhammet Dzhoraev and Serdar Bekenov won awards in the K-1 category. Rashit Geldimammedov, Khangeldi Atabaev, Guvanch Makhmudov, Guvanch Babaev and Ikhlas Baev won bronze awards at the World Cup.
