Turkmen athletes will go to Japan for the World Championship

Japan will host the World Aquatics Championship in Fukuoka from July 14 to 30 this year, where Turkmen swimmers will take part. This is reported on the website of Orient news.

The Turkmen national team includes M. Ataev, M. Jalaev, A. Morgenstern, A. Primova, headed by D. Novikov. M. Ataev and A. Primova will perform in 100 and 200 meters freestyle backstroke. M. Jalaev and A. Morgenstern will have to conquer the distances of 50 and 100 meters freestyle.

Currently, Turkmen athletes are in Turkey for training camps, where theoretical and practical classes are held for them.

This World Aquatics Championships will be a qualifying tournament before the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024.
