Bunyad Rashidov of Turkmenistan has won a minor silver medal at the World Weightlifting Championships currently underway in Bahrain. The weightlifter lifted 154 kilograms in snatch in the weight category up to 73 kg. This is reported by the Internet resource "Westiabad."
In the jerk B. Rashidov lifted 163 kg, taking 16th place. In the total sum of two exercises he took 15th place with the result of 321 kg.
A total of 8 athletes from Turkmenistan will compete at the World Championships in Bahrain. The team of Turkmen weightlifters is coached by Mansur Rejepov. The tournament is held from December 6 to 15 in 10 weight categories for men and 10 categories for women.
