Development of hydrogen energy was discussed in Turkmenistan

Deputy Foreign Minister B. Myatiev held the second meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group on the development of hydrogen energy in Turkmenistan on July 11. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The participants of the meeting discussed the Roadmap for the development of hydrogen energy for 2022-2023 and studied the experience of foreign countries in this area. Energy diplomacy is one of the priority areas of the country's foreign policy due to its rich energy reserves. During the meeting, the relevance of the development of international cooperation in the field of training specialists in hydrogen energy was emphasized. In particular, the guests of the event were familiarized with the activities of the hydrogen energy center established at the Y. Kakaev International University of Oil and Gas.

It was noted that cooperation with the UN, OSCE, EU, ADB, as well as with the UK, USA, Japan and other countries is of particular importance.
