The enterprise "Turkmenkaolin" will reopen the kaolin workshop in the Jebel village of Balkan velayat after a large-scale modernization. The production of kaolin is based on local raw materials - kaolin clay from the quarry located nearby.
The enterprise was reconstructed and equipped with new production lines from well-known foreign manufacturers. Thanks to the launch of the shop there will be additional jobs for local residents. The enterprise plans to produce kaolin products for the Turkmen market as well as for export. This raw material can be used to make earthenware, ceramics, refractory bricks, etc.
The Balkan Quarry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Building Production as a founder takes a share in the joint-stock company "Turkmenkaolin" with a 49% share in the authorized capital. The economic society "Deryaplastik", which is a member of the AOOT and a member of the SPPT, invested capital in the modernization of the kaolin raw materials production workshop.
