The capital of Turkmenistan hosted a meeting of the bilateral commission to expand economic and scientific-technical partnership between the Minister of Economy of our country and the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The topic of the discussion was to further improve the development of mutually beneficial partnership and increase the volume of trade between the two Asian countries.
The partners paid special attention to finding new opportunities for mutual cooperation. In this regard, the Minister of Economy of Turkmenistan, who chaired the meeting, noted the positive dynamics of deepening and expanding the borders of cooperation between the countries. The turnover of goods between the two countries increased threefold in the first nine months of this year alone.
The politicians thoroughly discussed the prospects for further mutually beneficial cooperation in the leading sectors of the states: energy, industry, agro-industry, transport, and water resources. It is also important for both countries to expand the list of commodity exchanges.
