During an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the President of Turkmenistan approved a number of new state programs and development strategies for the country, covering a wide range of areas.
In particular, the document signed by the Turkmen leader will boost development of the digital economy in the country. The corresponding program was developed for 2021-2025, and the implementation of the measures outlined in it is entrusted to the relevant ministries and sectoral agencies, as well as the governors of the provinces and the city of Ashgabat.
The Investment Program for the current year and the Foreign Trade State Strategy for 2021-2030 were also approved by the above-mentioned decree of the head of Turkmenistan.
For the period from 2021 to 2025 also approved the strategy aimed at reforming and implementing the management of enterprises with state participation, supplemented by the relevant Action Plan for its implementation.
The head of Turkmenistan did not pass over the issue of licensing the activities aimed at import, manufacture and sale of products of chemical industry, which will be regulated by the appropriate Regulations.
The decree signed by the leader of the Turkmen nation also affected the State Customs Service. In accordance with the document the Interagency Commission was formed to coordinate the activities of the "Single Window" system for implementation of export-import operations. The head of state also approved its composition and the regulations governing its activities.
