Turkmenistan recorded an increase in production volumes at major state enterprises

The State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan in the first quarter of 2021 recorded an increase in production volumes at major state-owned enterprises of the country.

For example, in January-March of this year, divisions of Turkmenhimiya increased their production capacity by 46.2%. In no small measure, the start of the 5-year program for development of technologies and chemical science contributed to achieving such a result. The set of measures is aimed at improving the chemical industry and implementing the innovative developments of Turkmen scientists in practice.

The Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TKNPZ) also demonstrated an increase in production scale in the first quarter of 2021, compared to the same period of the previous year. Statistics show that it was 18.2%. At the moment a variety of installations are being constructed within the Complex by means of which the feedstock will be processed. This, in turn, will allow to diversify the list of products with high added value, which will be exported abroad.

Not so long ago, the company laid two new gas turbine power plants with a projected capacity of 70 MW/hour. The purpose of their construction is to supply power to the facilities being built here.

The increase in the production scale is also fixed at the enterprises of Mintekstilprom. According to the results of January-March 2021, it amounted to 26.9% compared to the same period last year. The activity of the enterprises of this Ministry allows the people of Turkmenistan to buy high quality clothing at an affordable price. The goods are sold through specialized trade branches of Mintekstilprom, the key of which is Ashgabat's Altyn Asyr Trade Center.

The Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan in the first quarter of 2021 also showed an increase in production volumes compared to January-March of the previous year. The increases were 22% and 18.5%, respectively.
