The company Aýdyň gijeler has begun assembling and testing smart TVs. Buyers will be offered models with a 32, 42, and 55-inch LCD screen and 4K Ultra HD resolution. The new models will be equipped with network utilities and the necessary interface.
The company will be able to produce 100 thousand units per year. It is planned that the TV sets will be supplied to the domestic market as well as exported. The assembly technology and components are provided by the Chinese company Xin Hong Bo Trading Limited.
Production was set up at the former Turkmenkabel plant in Ashgabat. For this purpose the enterprise was reconstructed with installation of assembly lines, organization of sanitary zones, creation of a special room for assembly of electronic parts. It is also planned to start production of plastic parts from Turkmen raw materials. Thanks to the organization of the production, 130 jobs were created.
Aýdyň gijeler is one of the first enterprises opened under the State Program for the creation of the electronic and electrotechnical industry in Turkmenistan. In 2017, it launched the production of LED lamps, as well as the assembly of computers, tablets, and netbooks for students.
