Today, Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova held a meeting with the EU Ambassador to Turkmenistan Beata Peksa, as well as with the head of the cooperation department of the EU Delegation in Kazakhstan Johannes Baur and representatives of the International Trade Center and the German Agency for International Cooperation. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the sides noted the successful implementation of bilateral projects in the "EU-Central Asia" format.
In addition, cooperation with Turkmenistan in the field of climate change and transportation was discussed. It was noted that in this regard Turkmenistan and the EU are making joint efforts to reduce energy consumption, production of renewable energy sources, reduction of methane emissions and development of transport links between Central Asian countries and the EU.
