Chess championship of the first league ended in Turkmenistan

On Friday, December 23, the final games of the Chess Championship of Turkmenistan 1st League among men and women were held. In the men's group the winner was unknown until the very last moment, while the champion in the women's group was determined the day before - it was Meryem Agadjanova. Ogulsurai Bayrambaeva took the second place in the women's group, and Jennet Durdyeva took the third place.

The discovery of this championship was a young chess player Amanmuhamed Khommadov - the athlete broke into the major league at the age of 16, which opens up very great prospects for him.

Turkmenistan's strongest athlete Lala Shohradova, who has already ensured herself a place in the top league among women, honed her skills in the men's group, taking fifth place. Yusup Bayramgeldyev won first place in a tense struggle, Allayar Shirliev second and Amanmukhammed Khommadov third.
