Championship of Turkmenistan on aviation modeling was held

On April 2, Turkmenistan's aviation modeling championship for radio-controlled motor gliders of F5J class was held. The results of the championship were reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

Modelers from Ashgabat Aero Club of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan and aviation clubs of Buzmein district and Mary city took part in the competition.

Candidate Master of Sport Nazar Kerimov won the competition, Deryakuli Ataev took the second place, and Rafael Mustafin took the third place. Murad Ataev, a bard and one of the popularizers of aviation modeling, became a real inspiration for the fans of aviation modeling. This sport fascinated him after the first human flight into space in 1961 and is still relevant to him.

Today anyone can start practicing aviation model sports and become a member of the Ashgabat circle.
