Turkmen orchestra performed music of 17 countries

A concert of Tahir Ataev's orchestra was held at the National Music and Drama Theater named after Makhtumkuli. This was reported by the online edition of "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The concert program included music from 17 countries, familiar and loved by the audience. The orchestra under the direction of Tahir Ataev allowed the audience to plunge into the atmosphere of Paris, London, Rome, Istanbul, Athens, New York and other cities of the world thanks to the enchanting music.

Nura Halmamedov's "Lullaby", Bach's "Joke", Theodorakis' "Sirtaki", the Jewish folk melody "Hava Nagila", the soundtrack to the movie "Good. Bad. Evil" by Sinatra, "Adios Nonino" by Piazzolla and other famous compositions.

At the request of the audience Aymurat Saparmuradov performed Glinka's "Kamarinskaya" on dutar as an encore.
