Employees of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and the Federal Customs Service of Russia met online to exchange experience in the field of classification of goods. This was reported by the online publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
Employees of the FCS of Russia exchanged experience with their Turkmen colleagues on customs classification of goods on the example of the Commodity Nomenclature of the Foreign Economic Activity of the EEC, familiarized their colleagues with the infrastructure of classification of goods in the FCS, with specialized departments and their tasks.
The Commodity Nomenclature of the Foreign Economic Activity is regulated by the International Convention on the Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System of the World Customs Organization, which Turkmenistan joined in March of this year.
The meeting will allow the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan to improve the system of classification of goods.
