Consul General of Turkmenistan in Mashhad handed over a copy of the consular patent to the Iranian side

During the meeting held in Mashhad on October 8, 2025, Turkmenistan's Consul General in Iran Guvanchmyrat Ataev presented a copy of the consular patent to the head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry's representative office in Mashhad Ahmet Masumifar. This is reported by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the talks, the interlocutors noted the progressive development of bilateral relations, emphasizing the role of the heads of state - President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian - in this process. It was noted that the partnership between the two countries continues to be consistently strengthened on the basis of the principles of good-neighborliness and mutual trust.

The meeting discussed key areas of cooperation, including issues of intensifying trade and economic ties and building up cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere.
