The National Musical Drama Theater named after Makhtumkuli started the theatrical season with the performance "Waiting for You at the Wedding". This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
The events of the play unfold in the 60-70s of the last century. A Turkmen boy, returning from the army to his native village, fell in love with a girl working in the House of Culture. The play conveys the atmosphere of pleasant troubles accompanying the preparation for the wedding.
"Waiting for You at the Wedding" is based on the books of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the main idea of which is the preservation of good national traditions, including wedding traditions.
