Turkmen hydrometeorologists study new equipment

Hydrometeorologists of Ashgabat and provinces of Turkmenistan are mastering new SEBA KLL-Checker equipment designed to measure water level, temperature, conductivity, turbidity and other parameters. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The program is implemented by UNDP jointly with the Ministry of Environment Protection of Turkmenistan within the framework of the project "Development of national adaptation planning process in Turkmenistan". The training is aimed at capacity building of specialists of the Hydrometeorological Service of Turkmenistan in the field of environmental monitoring at groundwater or surface water measurement sites.

The project is developing a national coordination mechanism in the water sector for effective decision-making.
