Turkmenistan and the United States held consultations in Washington, DC

During the meeting, the diplomats discussed the current state and prospects for the development of Turkmen-American relations, as well as exchanged positions on topical international issues.

The participants of the talks confirmed mutual interest in developing security cooperation, expanding trade and economic ties and activating partnership within the framework of the "C5+1" platform.

The sides paid special attention to the implementation of bilateral projects with leading American companies. The parties also considered the prospects of expanding investment opportunities in Turkmenistan.

Following the consultations, the diplomats noted that regular bilateral meetings serve as an effective mechanism to further strengthen Turkmen-American cooperation.
