Turkmenistan's chess championship among juniors up to 20 years old has ended in Ashgabat. This was reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
The tournament was attended by about 100 chess players who competed in three directions - classic, rapid and blitz. Three participants shared the set of medals in Rapid - Amanmukhammet Khommadov took the first place with 9 points out of 9 possible, Akhmet Gubataev won the second place and Ilkhan Charyev took the third place.
Among girls in Rapid, Lala Shokhradova took the first place with 8 points, Meriem Agadjanova and Gulmira Seyilkhanova took the second and third places, respectively. A. Khommadov also became the best in classical chess. Lala Shokhradova was the best among girls. Akhmet Gubataev among boys and Lala Shokhradova among girls took the first place in blitz.
