The State Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan opened a personal exhibition of works by Aikhan Hajiyev in honor of his 100th birthday. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
The ceremony honoring Aikhan Hajiyev was attended by artists, pupils of the jubilee, relatives and friends, art critics, art lovers, representatives of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, media workers, as well as representatives of foreign art from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.
It is Aikhan Hajiyev who is the author of the canonical portrait of Makhtumkuli Fraghi, and throughout his creative biography the artist has repeatedly embodied the image of the great Turkmen thinker. Therefore, the paintings depicting different periods of the poet's life took a special place in the exposition.
Visitors to the exhibition will be able to see the artist's original works reflecting the history of the Turkmen state - "The First Teacher", "Collectivization", "Science to Help Khlobkoroba", "On Kharman", "The Century Dream Has Come True", "Carpet Makers", "White Gold".
