Turkmen volleyball players have won the first victory in the Central Asian Nations League, which is held in Islamabad under the auspices of the Central Asian Volleyball Federation. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
The Turkmenistanis defeated the Kyrgyz team 3-0 after a 2-3 loss to the Iranian team in the first round. Teams from Afghanistan, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan and Sri Lanka are participating in the international tournament.
In the next match, the players of the Turkmen national team will have to play with volleyball players from Pakistan, who already have two victories - over teams from Afghanistan and Sri Lanka. The Iranian team also has two victories, while Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan have one victory each.
The volleyball tournament will run through May 17, 2024.
