Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan discussed cooperation in the field of medicine

On May 26, on the margins of the 77th session of the World Health Assembly, bilateral talks were held between the Ministers of Health of Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan on cooperation in the field of pharmaceuticals and medical equipment. This was reported by the TurkmenPortal online publication.

The Kyrgyz side expressed interest in purchasing high-quality and inexpensive medicines produced at the joint Turkmen-Indian antibiotic plant, as well as pharmaceuticals and medical equipment from Turkmen manufacturers.

The Minister of Health of Turkmenistan shared the country's experience in the use of therapeutic clays extracted on the Caspian Sea coast and in Kyrgyzstan in medical practice. The parties considered the possibility of cooperation in this area.
