Ashgabat, July 16 - Arzuw.news. Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov held a telephone conversation with Croatian Foreign and European Affairs Minister Gordan Grlic-Radman, during which the parties discussed the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for the development of Turkmen-Croatian cooperation in a wide range of areas. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The foreign ministers noted the positive experience of interaction on international platforms, especially within the framework of the UN and the OSCE. Special attention was paid to a detailed consideration of ways to develop trade and economic ties between the two countries.
During the talks, the sides reaffirmed the importance of the planned visit of the Croatian Foreign Minister to Turkmenistan in October 2025. The fourth meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Croatian Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation and the Economic Forum with the participation of business circles of both countries will be held in the same month.
The Ministers also discussed preparations for the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries. In addition, the heads of diplomatic departments emphasized the importance of the International Forum of Peace and Confidence, which is scheduled for December 12, 2025 in Ashgabat.
