Eleven students from eight higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan are undergoing language training in Germany within the framework of summer German language courses of the DAAD program. Educational events are held from July 28 to August 30 on the basis of leading German universities. This is reported by the publication Turkmenistan: Golden Age.
The program participants represent the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction, Makhtumkuli TSU, International University of Humanities and Development, Myrat Garryev State Medical University, Oguz Khan University of Engineering and Technology, Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages, Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Seyitnazar Seidi Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute.
Students were given the opportunity to participate in the internship after successfully passing the preliminary selection. Training is conducted using modern methods under the guidance of experienced specialists.
The program aims to develop participants' professional abilities, expand their linguistic knowledge and communication skills. In addition to learning German, the students get acquainted with German history and culture.
DAAD is the largest provider of scholarships in Germany for international students and has been partnering with Turkmenistan since 1997. The DAAD service in Ashgabat advises on education in Germany and scholarship programs for students, graduates and researchers.
DAAD initiatives contribute to strengthening ties between Turkmenistan and Germany in the spheres of science, education and culture.
